CLIMentines is an ambitious Erasmus+ initiative that aims at empowering European youth with the knowledge and tools to actively engage and impact on climate action policies in their countries and at European level. The projects consists of a partnership of seven organisations in six European countries covering a wide geographical area of the continent.
At the heart of CLIMentines is the goal to empower young people. By equipping them with knowledge, skills, and tools, the project aspires to enable youth to actively participate in and influence policy-making at local, national, and European levels.
Strengthening the capacities of youth organizations and leaders forms a crucial part of the project. Training, workshops, and resource development are among the strategies employed to enhance the effectiveness of youth workers in guiding and supporting young participants.
Creating a transnational network of youth organizations lies at the forefront of CLIMentines. This network aims to foster knowledge sharing, mutual learning, and collaborative action among youth-led and youth-focused initiatives.
