The CLIMentines project represents a pioneering initiative aimed at fostering a new generation of environmentally conscious and politically active young Europeans, aged 18 to 30. At its core, the project seeks to empower youth to take a stand in the global dialogue on climate action and democratic engagement. This initiative is rooted in the belief that young people are not only the leaders of tomorrow but also the change-makers of today. The project unfolds across six European countries, bringing together seven diverse organizations in a robust partnership. This transnational collaboration reflects the project’s commitment to unity, inclusivity, and shared learning. By harnessing the collective strength of these varied entities, CLIMentines aims to create a dynamic and impactful network.
Connect youth organisations and youth and strengthen knowledge sharing and mutual learning through building a transnational network including participating organisations, youth organisations (grassroot, networks and youth led initiatives)
Strengthen the capacities of youth organisations and youth workers and leaders providing them with knowledge and concrete tools to apply in their work towards active citizenship, participatory and deliberative democracy processes and climate action
Support the active engagement of young people especially those with fewer opportunities or those that have been inactive
Empower young people by strengthening their competences and rendering them more confident to participate and influence policy making at local, national and European level, taking charge of their future.
